There are existing words that can be extracted from the word ‘camouflage’ of course, but the poets in residence at the Leamington art Gallery & Museum have uncovered plausible other words for a Dictionary of Hidden Words.
Some visitors to the gallery have submitted possible definitions for these words, for example –
CAMAGE – members of the population who are not knights of the realm
COGE – a beach-based conman
FLAMMAGE – what is left at the end of a jumble sale
Please submit before 11th October and poet Nigel Hutchinson will be reading a selection at the Poetry, Patterns & Pinot event on Sat 15th October
