Installation August – Sept

Has technological innovation rendered more traditional forms of camouflage obsolete?  The Coventry based, artist-led group Office for Art, Design and Technology present Drone Shadow, an installation by Athens based, British artist, writer and technologist James Bridle to encourage debate around this very question.

The Drone Shadow’s are a series of installations which display a 1:1 outline of a variety of Drone’s, highlighting the physical reality and the apparent invisibility of these unmanned aerial vehicles.
Presented for the Camouflage Festival is the Watchkeeper WK450, a drone used by the British military for reconnaissance and surveillance.
This installation is a part of Office for Art, Design and Technology’s Camouflage Season. For more information visit: www.art-design-tech.org
