Painting for Pleasure Camouflage

17th August 2016 @ 10:00 am - 27th August 2016 @ 2:00 pm

Members of ‘Painting for Pleasure’ are exhibiting Camouflage themed artwork, created over the past year.

This includes displaying two large paintings made during a Camouflage activity day. Each large painting is made up from six A2 sized paintings joined together. We invited past members and groups we have links with to join us for a fun arts activities day on the theme of Camouflage, with thanks from Warwick District Council for an Arts Development Grant 2015.

Painting for Pleasure has been developing the camouflage theme further with a project called ‘The Art of Camouflage’ with funds from the heart of England Community Foundation ‘Comic Relief Local Communities Programme’. This grant has enabled the group to experiment with camouflage and create a body of work for exhibition.

The exhibition will take place in the All Saints Parish Church cafe from 17th – 27th August on the following times:

Wednesdays  10.00am – 1.00pm
Thursdays      10.30am – 2.00pm
Fridays            10.30am – 2.00pm
Saturdays      10.30am – 12.30pm
