The Leamington History Fair is on the 3rd September at All Saints Church and we will have a stall to tell you more about the history of camouflage. Local poet Matt Black will be reading some of his camo-inspired work and artist and historian Fergus Durrant will be around to chat about the influence of the camouflage story on his life and share his collection of memorabilia! In 1940 the Free Czechoslovak Army was based in Leamington Spa, the FCA arrived in Leamington following the occupation of Czechoslovakia by the Nazis and the 4000 members were taken in and concealed in and around the town.
